Trigger Thumb Troubles

On May 21, Andrew celebrated being 18 months old by having surgery on his right hand.
Turns out he had a trigger thumb just like his dad.

The surgery was supposed to be the week before, but Andrew had some sort of fluke fever,
so we were sent back home to reschedule the surgery.  Luckily the second time,
everything checked out fine and he was approved to have the surgery.

We were scheduled first thing in the morning in hopes of having a less
crabby child since he couldn't eat before the surgery.

Andrew started out being not so cooperative with all the poking around the nurses were doing,
but once they gave him some medicine to calm him down, he was good as could be!

He got a case of the giggles...

...and became VERY relaxed!

Don't let this smile fool you...
Someone was NOT happy when they woke up from surgery!

But, after an hour of crying, he must of decided it was what it was.

He had no trouble playing with all of his toys.
And was a good trooper about his cast for the next 2 weeks.

Just some double protection around the pool waters...
